Auditions for Steel Magnolias will be held on
Friday, May 30th at 7:00 PM.
This is a one-night-only audition opportunity.
We are currently casting for the following available roles only:

Truvy Jones – The vivacious, warm-hearted beauty salon owner
(originally played by Dolly Parton in the film)

Clairee Belcher – The sophisticated and quick-witted former mayor’s wife (originally played by Olympia Dukakis in the film)
Auditioners should come prepared to cold read from the script.
No monologues or prepared pieces required.

Volunteer
Plant City Entertainment is seeking ushers to assist the cast and crew during all performances at the theater. Duties include, but are not limited to: greeting and assisting patrons, helping with tickets and programs, post-show tidying of the theater, etc.
